San Diego North County Blue Star Mothers is a support group serving the San Diego area military and families. Our founding mothers first came together in September 2005 and meet regularly to share our worries, pride, and devotion to our children who are now serving in every branch of the military. We are an official chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., a group formed during World War II.

The Blue Star Mothers of America is a non-partisan, non-political, non-sectarian, non-discriminatory and non-profit organization. We do not support any political candidate, nor do we endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America, as does our organization. Our mission is to support through service:

• Members and their sons and daughters who serve or have served honorably in the Armed Forces of the United States of America
• United States military personnel who serve or have served honorably and their families
• Veteran's organizations
• Causes that will benefit military personnel
